How to refuel at a self service station

How to refuel at Q8 Self-Service? Here are some practical tips that explain step by step how to refuel.

Step 1Arrival at the station

  • 1 Check the fuel warning light and see which side the filler is on;
  • 2 stop in front of the pump and turn off the car;
  • 3 get out of the car and position yourself on the correct side to refuel;
  • 4 open the fuel filler flap (via the internal lever or by opening it manually (with keys or by pressing the door);
  • 5 go to the payment column and chose the method (cash, card, CardQ8 or App); (see the video).

Step 2 Payment Methods

  • App payment
  • CardQ8 payment
  • Other payments

App payment

  • 1 Open the ClubQ8 App and click on the "PAY" icon
  • 2 Indicate the amount you prefer and choose the validity period of the code
  • 3 Get the payment code to type into the acceptor to proceed with refueling
  • 4 At this point, the screen will show the payment and will inform you that the pump is ready for refueling

In addition, with the "pump unlock" mode you can select the amount and choose the column directly from the ClubQ8 App.

CardQ8 payment

  • 1 Identify yourself as a ClubQ8 user via CardQ8 by entering it into the acceptor
  • 2 Click on "use it to pay and earn Points" and enter your CardQ8 PIN
  • 3 Select the fuel pump number on the screen (the pump number can be found on the pump itself and is usually located high above the regulators).
  • 4 At this point, the screen will show the payment and will inform you that the pump is ready for refueling

Payment by cash, debit card, CartissimaQ8 or RecardQ8

  • 1Identify yourself as a ClubQ8 user via CardQ8 by entering it into the acceptor and typing in the PIN or by entering the 8-digit user code that can be found on the ClubQ8 App and on your CardQ8.
  • 2 Make payment by cash, bank card, CartissimaQ8 or RecardQ8
  • 3 Select the fuel pump number on the screen (the pump number can be found on the pump itself and is usually located high above the regulators).
  • 4 At this point, the screen will show the payment and will inform you that the pump is ready for refueling
 

  

Step 3Refueling

  • 1 Go to the car, open the gas cap and raise the desired fuel dispenser.
    * Find out what kind of fuel your car needs.
  • 2 Insert the dispenser into the tank and press and hold the lever;

  • 3 If the regulator jumps or clicks, it is because there is a pressure leak. To continue to feed the fuel correctly, change the position of the gun slightly
  • 4 When you're done refueling, replace the regulator at the pump and close the tank
  • 5 Approach the payment desk and collect the receipt, get in the car and drive away
