AdBlue is a modern additive that is used in diesel-ready engines to reduce polluting emissions. It is a non-toxic, non-flammable and biodegradable solution based on technical urea, formulated for exhaust gas treatment of modern heavy-duty diesel engines equipped with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system. Its purpose is the abatement of nitrogen oxides on EURO IV, V and VI vehicles. This results in a reduction of harmful emissions, making the vehicle more environmentally friendly and compliant with the latest emission standards.

AdBlue is easy to use: it should be added pure to the appropriate vehicle tank, with a recommended temperature between -10°C and +30°C. In fact, it is good to remember that high temperatures above 30°C result in degradation with ammonia separation, and sunlight could generate algae formation.
