Thanks to the contributions of all its members and partners, Q8 engages in local and national projects and initiatives involving the younger generations to actively promote a more sustainable and responsible future.
GEA EDU - Ideas for the future
Sustainable development and ecological transition are subjects of study in high schools.
Q8 supports "GEA EDU-Ideas for the future," a project promoted by Art.49 Foundation and endorsed by MASE and ENEA, which offers Italian schools an educational path with frontal lessons conducted by regular teachers during curriculum hours. The initiative aims to promote a culture of participation and make students aware and protagonists of the ecological transition by providing them with skills and useful information for adopting good practices in daily life.
Q8 has contributed to expanding the number of beneficiaries of the initiative and creating educational content with video interviews on the topics of hydrogen and energy transition. An effort toward students, teachers, and families, for adopting virtuous behaviors in everyday life.
It was an important moment of inspiration for young students, who had the opportunity to interact with experts from various fields at a time in their lives when they began to face significant opportunities and choices for the future. The fruitful and stimulating circumstance also proved to be an opportunity for personal enrichment for Q8 volunteers who participated in the initiative and an opportunity to create social value for the community.
STEM Project
With corporate volunteering, Q8 experts guide children to discover STEM subjects.
Q8 is close to those looking for a path for their future. This was demonstrated by participating in the STEM project, which was carried out in partnership with United Way España, to guide elementary school children in discovering scientific subjects.
Q8 took part in the training session managed by the experts of the Digital Education Lab, which ended with a workshop dedicated to three 5th-grade classes in the Quartaccio area of Rome. On this occasion, volunteers went to the school to spend an afternoon with the children and program a video game together.
Motivational Orientation

Motivating and guiding students at the IIS De Amicis-Cattaneo Institute in Rome on self-awareness and future prospects. This is the goal of the corporate volunteer initiative that Q8 carried out in partnership with United Way España. Experts from various fields attended three classes to share their educational, life, and professional experiences.

#GiovaniO’Nest
Q8’s social commitment also involves theater.
Q8 has always believed in people and their talent. For this reason, it decided to support the #GiovaniO’Nest theater introduction project workshops dedicated to young people who want to engage in the seventh art form. The theater group, founded in 2016, consists of young people under 25 from the territory and the eastern outskirts of Naples.
In the center of San Giovanni a Teduccio, a neighborhood in the eastern part of Naples, it was a school gym that was abandoned for years. In 2006, it became the Nest, Naples East Theater, a theater in every respect, equipped with a 99-seat auditorium, a 9 10 m stage, a foyer, and a dressing room for artists.
