How to request electronic invoicing for VAT recovery on fuel refueling.
Since January 1, 2019, electronic invoicing is mandatory for VAT recovery on fuel purchases, eliminating the costs associated with printing, storage, and shipping. This procedure, as required by European Directive 2014/55/EU and introduced in Italy with the 2018 financial law, has abolished the old fuel card.
To request an electronic invoice through our Q8 portal, you need to register your company or VAT number, complete the form with your personal details, and enter the details of all receipts collected.
When using CartissimaQ8, payment summaries are sent monthly via email.
