Who we are

Group

Q8 Quaser S.r.l., a blend of the words Quality and Service, is a company of the Kuwait Petroleum Italia S.p.A. (Kupit) group, operating in the off-network segment and in the energy efficiency market through MyEnergyQ8.

Story

In the 1990s, Kupit, already a major player in the network segment with its Q8-branded fuel stations, decided to enter the off-network segment with the aim of integrating the entire petroleum sector supply chain—from crude extraction and refining (so-called upstream) to marketing to the end consumer (so-called forward integration).

This strategy was implemented through the acquisition, in 2000, of four companies operating in the off-network market throughout Italy: F. Cerami & Figli of Naples, Biella Comm.le of Milan, Boldrin of Padua, and Termoil of Lucca. From their merger, in 2001, Q8 Quaser was born.

Leveraging the experience inherited from the incorporated companies and the know-how of the parent company Kuwait Petroleum Italia, Q8 Quaser quickly achieved a leading position in the off-network market. This constant growth ensures quality products, customized offers, efficient services, and the safety of the entire supply chain, meeting the needs of our customers in the Consumption, Resale, White Pumps, Bunker, and Tender channels.

Our strength lies in our ability to combine a "customer-centric" ideology that focuses on the needs of each individual client with the future-oriented vision typical of our Group, through the development of increasingly sustainable products and new business lines aimed at energy transition and the enhancement of the environment in which we live.

This privacy notice is provided by Q8 Quaser S.r.l., based in Rome, Viale dell'Oceano Indiano, 13 (hereinafter referred to as "Quaser"), as the data controller, to explain the purposes and methods by which Quaser will process the personal data you choose to provide in order to contact you and send you commercial information based on your request.

 

Categories of Data Processed
Quaser will process the data you provide through the specific form mentioned above; in particular, Quaser may process your first and last name, company name, full address of your registered office, and contact information (email address or phone number) to respond to your request. The provision of mandatory data (*) is necessary to receive the requested information and commercial communications; without this data, Quaser will be unable to fulfill your request.

 

Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
Your personal data will be processed by Quaser, pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, in order to respond to your contact request.

 

Processing Methods
Commercial communications may be sent using traditional systems (postal mail, operator calls) and automated systems (e.g., SMS, email, non-operator calls). Your personal data may be processed by third parties that Quaser uses to fulfill your request. These parties will act as data processors on behalf of Quaser. You may request a list of data processors by writing to privacyquaser@q8.it

 

Duration of Processing
Your data will be processed for the time necessary to fulfill your request and will not be retained for further purposes.

 

Data Transfer Outside the European Union
Your data may be transferred outside the European Union by service providers used by Quaser to fulfill your request. This transfer is regulated with the service providers using standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission under decision 2010/87/EU and any subsequent amendments. You may request information about the transfer by writing to privacyquaser@q8.it

 

Rights of Data Subjects
We inform you that, in accordance with current regulations, you have the following rights:

  • Request and obtain information about the existence of your personal data with the company and the processing carried out by Quaser, as well as access to such data.
  • Request and obtain the receipt in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format of personal data you provided to Quaser, processed through automated means; you may also request the transfer of such data to another data controller.
  • Request and obtain the modification and/or correction of your personal data if you believe they are inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Request and obtain the deletion and/or restriction of the processing of your personal data if such data or information is not necessary—or no longer necessary—for the aforementioned purposes.

 

These requests may be addressed to Quaser through the website  http://www.q8.it/, by accessing the Privacy section, or through other channels the company may make available to customers.

 

We also inform you that Quaser has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted at dpo@q8.it.

 

Lastly, we inform you that, under current regulations, you may file complaints regarding the processing of your personal data with the Data Protection Authority.
