Rome, April 30, 2024 – On April 29, Q8, together with AS Roma, promoted an important beach cleaning initiative dedicated to safeguarding our precious coastline, joining forces with RomaNatura, a regional authority established to manage, protect, and enhance the system of protected natural areas in the city of Rome.

The intervention took place along the picturesque Lungomare Duca Degli Abruzzi, in the beautiful area of the tourist port of Ostia.

From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, employees from the energy company and the sports club joined in a cleanup effort to protect the marine environment and preserve the beauty of the coastline. Armed with gloves, bags, rakes, and special tongs, the volunteers worked diligently along the coast.

This initiative highlights Q8's and its partner’s ongoing commitment to promoting environmental responsibility and actively engaging with the community. The synergy between Q8 and AS Roma underscores the importance of corporate social responsibility and the power of collaboration in building a sustainable future.

The event represents another step forward in the joint effort to protect the Ostia coastline. In this new "retake" activity coordinated by RomaNatura, Q8 employees worked alongside AS Roma staff, demonstrating a shared set of values and a strong social commitment that strengthens the partnership between the two companies.
