Starbucks Opens Its First Drive Thru in Italy in Collaboration with Percassi
The new store is located within a Q8 service station in Erbusco.
Milan/Rome, January 10, 2022 – Today marked the opening of the first Starbucks® Drive Thru in Italy, located in Erbusco (Brescia), as part of a new partnership between Percassi and Q8, bringing the unique Starbucks® experience to customers throughout the Italian fuel service network.
The new Drive Thru store is spread across two floors: ground floor and basement. It also includes an outdoor area that allows customers to order their favorite Starbucks® beverages and menu items conveniently from their car. Consumers can also personalize any drink on the menu, choosing from soy, almond, or oat milk options.
When Starbucks®, in partnership with Percassi, opened its very first store in Italy in 2018, it paid tribute to Italian culture through both store design and the Starbucks® food offering, embracing the uniqueness of Milan’s tradition and culture. The same approach was taken for the arrival of Starbucks® in Erbusco.
As part of Starbucks®' ongoing commitment to becoming a resource-positive company, the new store will use 100% certified renewable energy. Additionally, Starbucks® offers a 20-cent discount to all customers who bring a reusable cup when purchasing a beverage.
Starbucks® is dedicated to sourcing 100% ethically produced coffee in partnership with Conservation International. The foundation of the company's ethical coffee sourcing approach lies in its C.A.F.E. (Coffee and Farmer Equity) practices.

The Q8 service station in Erbusco is modern and sustainable, equipped with photovoltaic panels on the canopy and high-efficiency LED lighting, ensuring high service standards for mobility, including electric mobility, thanks to two charging stations, one of which is ultrafast with a maximum power of 300 kW DC, allowing two electric vehicles to charge simultaneously in just a few minutes. For motorists, there is also an Easy Wash car washing system using high environmental standard products. Among the many complementary services offered to drivers is Svolta, Q8's new concept store, which is highly digital and characterized by sustainability in both infrastructure and the products available for sale.
