Verso una mobilità sempre più green

The World is Changing. Pushed by the Paris Agreement on Climate Actions, the European Parliament approved the "European Green Deal."

This is a series of policy initiatives with the overarching goal of making Europe climate-neutral by 2050. With almost-zero particulate matter and low CO2 emissions, LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) represents the optimal solution already available today for maritime and heavy road transport.

The "Naples LNG Coastal Depot" project aims to develop a storage depot equipped with loading bays for ships and trucks, making LNG a readily available and competitively priced fuel across Central and Southern Italy, in line with the European green strategy and international regulations for sustainable heavy transport by sea and road.

Even in a complex scenario such as the one we are experiencing, Q8 maintains a long-term strategic vision—a strategy focused on innovation and environmental protection, with a commitment to continue playing a leading role in the energy transition.

This important investment in Southern Italy demonstrates the trust our shareholders have in the Italian market and strengthens Q8's bond with the city of Naples, where we have been a strategic player in energy supply for years—a role that this new project will further bolster.
