Rome, May 12, 2022 – Enel X Way, the new global business line of Enel entirely dedicated to electric mobility, and Q8 have signed an interoperability agreement that will allow Q8 customers to access Enel X Way’s electric vehicle charging network in Italy using the CartissimaQ8 app. Enel X Way operates the country's largest public charging network, with 15,000 points distributed across the Peninsula. Customers will be able to choose from various types of charging points, from Quick 22 kW+22 chargers to high-power stations that can fully charge a vehicle in under 20 minutes.

The agreement is part of a broader project already initiated by Enel X Way and Q8 for the installation of new electric vehicle charging sites throughout Italy. This solution, integrated into the CartissimaQ8 app for B2B customers, now allows users to conveniently locate nearby charging stations, reserve a plug 15 minutes before arrival, constantly monitor the charging status, and receive a notification once charging is complete. All Enel X Way stations are powered entirely by renewable energy.
