An example of circular economy
HVO is a clean fuel derived from waste fat. The hydrogenation of fats from the food industry (fishing and slaughtering), as well as vegetable oils not intended for the food industry, produces a high-quality fuel. Its chemical structure is identical to that of fossil diesel and can therefore completely replace it, reducing CO₂ emissions.

How to find out if I can use Q8 HVO+
Before refueling with Q8 HVO+ fuel, check for the XTL label, which indicates synthetic diesel according to the European standard EN15940, on your vehicle's fuel flap or in the maintenance manual.
