THE INITIATIVE

Motivate and guide the students of the IIS De Amicis-Cattaneo high school in Rome, with a discussion on self-awareness and future prospects. This is the goal of the corporate volunteering initiative that Q8 has carried out in partnership with United Way España. Experts from various fields met with three classes to share their educational, life, and professional experiences.

THE ROLE OF Q8

It was an important moment of inspiration for young students, who had the opportunity to interact with experts from various fields at a time in their lives when they begin to encounter significant opportunities and choices for the future. This fruitful and stimulating experience also proved enriching for the Q8 volunteers who participated in the initiative, providing them with a chance for personal growth and an opportunity to create social value for the community.

THE INITIATIVE

Q8 has always believed in people and their talents. That's why it decided to support the workshops of the #GiovaniO’Nest theater project, aimed at young people who want to engage with the performing arts. The theater group, established in 2016, consists of individuals under 25 from the local area and the eastern outskirts of Naples.

The Nest Theater

Located in the heart of San Giovanni a Teduccio, a neighborhood in the eastern part of Naples, the Nest Theater was once the gymnasium of an abandoned school. In 2006, it was transformed into the Nest, Napoli Est Teatro, a fully functioning theater with 99 seats, a 9x10 meter stage, a foyer, and a dressing room for artists. Today, the Nest hosts theatrical performances, cultural and musical events, photo shoots, courses, presentations, film screenings, theater rehearsals, setups, and exhibitions.

It provides valuable skills and information to encourage the adoption of good practices in daily life, promoting sustainability education and sustainable development.

THE ROLE OF Q8
